Finally On The Ground

We arrived at the WIM(Western Indian Ministries) complex just after 8pm our time.  After a long (but safe) day of travel our team is ready to unwind, stretch out and get a good night’s sleep.  Before we sign of f a few students wanted to share some thoughts:

Today we made it through two long, adventurous plane rides. We eventually got to the WIM though. On the car ride from Phoenix, AZ, a few others and myself had an “interesting” trip here. The car ride involved lots of “singing”. -Nick Thompson

Hey, this is Sarah! I have to say that today was pretty exhausting, but it was definitely an adventure. The first plane ride this morning was kind of scary for me, but I managed it through in one piece, and I hope I only cut off the circulation in a couple of people’s hands…The van ride wasn’t quite as enjoyable as the plane trip because it was INSANELY long but we finally made it here, and even though my mental time zone is totally messed up, I’m ready for an exciting week.  ~Sarah Crock

We started our trip by spending a lot of time in airplanes. Then we had a 6 hour car ride, which was interesting because a lot of people were tired from the plane ride so they were sort of irritable. People have jetlag and it is fun to watch as people are starting to adjust or not adjusting as well.  Stuff. -Ben Johnson
